The shape and style of the three larger Zodiac Milpro FC boats are all well proven in the toughest military and civilian use. However the Zodiac Milpro FC420 and FC 470 inflatable boat is also very popular with fire brigades and other similar civilian rescue services throughout the world. It is a shallow draft, nimble and lightweight inshore / inland rescue boat. It is therefore ideal to use in flood rescue and other disaster situations.
Once again, as described above, the ability to deploy the FC420 and FC470 inside a 4x4 vehicle makes it quick to deploy, by the first responders, in almost any possible location. The FC 420 and especially the FC 470 is also both larger and more flexible with the use of its its internal space than the specialist Zodiac Milpro ERB boat ranges (Note for details of the ERB: please see a separate entry on this website).
Some fire brigades get the best of both worlds: by frequently deploying their Zodiac Milpro FC 420's on road trailers: but retaining the ability to "roll them up and go" by keeping space free inside the loading area of their 4x4 towing vehicle.
