The Yamaha F6 outboard engine is steered and controlled by the tiller handle and it is a manual pull start engine.
There a simple lever-operated system for forward and reverse gears on the side of the Yamaha 6hp engine. The built-in fuel tank on the "Yammy" 6hp F6 engine gives a sensible range for a small outboard engine. There is however a coupling for the (optional) fuel tank to give a longer range. We do sell the optional 12 litre tank and line, however most customers find the range of this four-stroke 6hp Yamaha to be adequete on just the fuel in the internal tank. For the more adventerous, the additional tank can always be purchased at a later date.
The engine is a manual tilt. The Yamaha F6 weighs in at 27kg.
