DF300 - SUZUKI'S 300hp OUTBOARD ENGINE

The Suzuki DF300 outboard engine has a number of excellent features built into it. The two best features are undoubtedly lean burn (for maximum fuel economy) and precision control (for very accurate throttle settings). However inside the 300hp Suzuki engine are built-in such features as two-stage gear reduction; variable valve timing; selective rotation (for twin and triple engines); easy start (turn key and go); self adjusting timing chain and direct ignition. These are all features taken from Suzuki's extensive automotive experience of cars and especially motorbikes. All of the engine is controlled by a sophisicated computerised diagnostics system. All of this is protected by an anti-corrosion system. The Suzuki drive-by wire system makes this 300hp engine surprisingly easy to control.
 
Please note that Suzuki now require all new Suzuki outboard engines over 40hp sold in the UK to be installed rigged only by professionally qualified Suzuki dealership. This requirement is simply to maintain their high quality standrds and enviable record for reliability. Therefore workshop installation of your new Suzuki engine onto your boat is required.
