We would ask that users of Whaly’s on inland waterways please note that a major part of the total Whaly boat package cost is the remotely steered outboard engine. In many cases, we have found from experience that inland waterways users can safely use a smaller engine on their Whaly than the normal manufacturer’s recommendations, which are sized for sea use. If a smaller engine is suitable, this will considerably reduce your total boat and engine purchase cost.
